o.tel.o was the name of a former german telecommunication operator, founded from Vebacom (Veba/Cable&Wireless) and RWE Telliance in 1997. o.tl.o was aquired by Vodafone/Arcor in 1999.

After the deregulation of the german telecommunication market at the ned of the 1990th, o.tel.o was beside Viag Intercom and Arcor one of the three potential competitors of the Deutsche Telekom.




Dolphin Telecom was a mobile network operator using the TETRA radio access technology.

Dolphin's initial network was in the UK but they also built networks in France, Germany and Belgium. They decided to position the technology as a 4-in-1 service emphasizing the ability to have telephone, walkie-talkie, SDS (the TETRA equivalent of SMS), and packet data.

On 1 August 2001, the company went into administration. In June 2002 the network was bought by Inquam. Inquam got Frequency Licenses to built up a CDMA Network using some of the former dolphin telecom sites in Germany.
